Those days in Highlands, almost like a dream

All those memories of times gone by

Those lovely years in Africa

We think of them now with a sigh.

Look at all these pictures as the years flew past

But always we wondered if those good times could last

So then you moved to England, all those years ago 

Enjoying this lovely land, watching your family grow.

Thankful for those good times, those good times that we all had

For those special days, those loving days, those days that made us glad

We chilled out in sun’s bright glow, with children all around       

Remember those lovely days and all the happy sounds:

So wishing you dear Eddy a day that’s filled with joy

With your charm and your wisdom, dear Dad,

Your kindness and strength, your care for your family,    

Your mischievous smile warms us with its glow, 

Oh! You’ve always been everything we wanna be,

Dad, you’ve always been our true hero!
